Why did you choose to attend LBHC?
Having my son right out of high school was what made me stick close to home and come here. Also on top of that, LBHC offers nursing soooo um yea!

I noticed that you were on the "Who's Who" list. What is that exactly and were you always a high academic achiever in High School?
It's when you're nominated for being an outgoing academic achiever, by one of the teachers or coaches, and yes I was always a high academic acheiver in high school. It was very important to me that I did well especially in sports. lol jks. And, oh yea, by the way i was awarded academic all state during my basketball season my jr year.

How do you balance school with parenthood?
It's definately not easy, but I do it as a single parent too. Well, my son goes to daycare throughout the day and that helps, but in the evenings when I pick him up there's no time for homework because he's a handfull. regardless of all that I love it and I always manage someway or another.

What class do you look forward to the most this semester?
Hmm....to be honest, theu're all about the same in likeness....kind of. lol And by golly I always look forward to class!! lol

What class are you looking forward to the least?
Stats....I usually love math and it comes easy to me. I was in calc in high school but for some reason I just cant get into stats. I mean I can do it but its just so dry and dull. I don't know if its the instructor....but yea!

Who is your favorite LBHC Faculty or Staff member?
I'd have to say Dionne in Title III, because she's always so nice and willing to help! =)

What is your fondest memory of this campus so far?
Well, all of the new additions and the ones to come but one incident in particular that I'll never forget is when I wiped out in front of the registars office(doc martins in in cold and wet weather+tile floor=disaster). I grunted and everything!!

What will you miss the most after you complete your two years here or transfer to another school?
What I'll miss most is just being here at home where it's so comfortable and your fam is there...where the professors are on a one to one basis, and all my friends and faculty who I've come close with!

I noticed that you're a nursing major. What are plans after LBHC?
After LBHC I plan to attend either MSU-Bozeman or SKC. My original goal was Bozeman, but now I'm totally undecided because SKC has an awesome nursing program too!

You mentioned that want to work at an IHS hospital. Has that always been a goal of yours?
Yes, working at an IHS hospital has always been a goal for me...I want to help all people to better health and (I) wouldn't mind if I didn't work in a IHS, but I just feel as a native woman I need to help them more. lol

How would you describe your overall experience here at LBHC?
My experience here at LBHC has been a pleasent one. I've learned a lot and I'm thankful for everything that this college has helped me with.

What tribe are you enrolled in?
I'm enrolled in the crow tribe.

If you had to choose to go without, what would it be: Fixing your hair, or putting make-up on?
I'd go without makeup!

Are you a regular at Crow Fair?
Ha Ha! Yesh I am a reg at Crow Fair!

Are you outgoing or the quiet type?
Outgoing!!! But sometimes when I first meet someone I'm a little quiet.

Would you consider yourself a "Rez" kid or an Urban "Indian"?
Ha Ha! I don't know! Urban Indian I guess!

Do you believe in Karma?
Um....yeah 'cause I believe you reap what you sow.

What is your favorite dish?....or do you not eat?
(LMAO) Are you kidding me! I absolutely love food!!!! My fav food would have to be um....Chinese.

What do you do during your spare time?
My favorite pastime other then being with my son would be being with my family or working out(whether its running, basketball, volleyball, ect..).

Describe the perfect day(for you) in a nutshell?
My perfect day in a nutshell would be waking up to my very own beautiful home with my son. It'd be a beautiful sunny day. Probably like weekend-ish (lol) so we could have the day to be free to do whatever and have more than enough money to do whatever...to be able to go anywhere...so my son and I can go out and have a blast!!!!! It's a blessing enough to get another day.

Are you addicted to texting? Can you live without your cell phone?
I don't know about being addicted to texting, but I do feel quite lost with out my cell phone.

If you there is a cartoon/animated character that best resembes your personality or yourself in general, who would that be?
hmmm....I'd have to say...shucks! I don't know! Ha Ha
